Disney's Website Review
If you are a Florida resident and been on the Disney World's website and tried to buy to tickets for maybe just one visit because you only live a few hours away, and it is just to expensive to buy a hotel room instead of just driving the couple hours it takes to go back home. Well I have been spending the past couple of days on the website because we are trying to get one pass tickets to go to Epcot for our daughter's birthday. Well while I was on the website, purchasing the tickets it kept trying to sell me 4 day passes for my family of four. I even spoke with an online chat repsentive and acted like I was incapable of running my computer and how to work the internet. I just wanted prices for a one day ticket for a family of four. She then told me that they do not offer one day tickets to epcot for Florida Residents, and that you had to change your settings to all guests. Which I thought was very hard, you know how hard is it for a chat customer service to just give me the price for a one day ticket for an adult and a child. I had to call Disney to get the information I wanted to know, which I was not to happy about. I mean if I knew I had to call them and wait on hold to figure out what I actually wanted do you think I would have tried to chat with a person online before hand or just wasted my time calling disney and getting the information in the first place. Disney customer service over the phone was great and very polite their chat service on the other hand sucks.
A little's girl very unbirthday birthday tea party!!
On November the 8th, we threw my 7 year old daughter her birthday party for her 7th birthday. She wanted an Alice in Wonderland themed birthday party and I had just made some three tier cupcake holders that I wanted to use. WWell I thought why not do an Alice in Wonderland tea party. I told my daughter and she freaked she wanted the hot tea and everything there. It was very easy to pull this off, I had most of the supplies already on hand. since this was an Alice in Wonderland tea party nothing need to match. So we went to an antique store and purchased some tea pots, went to goodwill to purchase the teacups, and then we went to Micheals and purchased some small picture frames to use as a name plate and the guest could take the picture frame and teacups home as a party gift. It was a success compelete with my little girl screaming this was the best party that she ever had and she loved it. You know that made this mommy very proud, I may not have been able to get her a lot for her tea party and was working on a budget but hear that your daughter loved her party was good enough for me. Here are some pictures from her birthday party, Her cake we got from a local bakery here in Palatka, FL called Sweet Grace Anna. Their cake was awesome and very sweet.

A NEW AND EXCITING LIFE!!!!
So Ladies and Gentlemen I know I have been gone for a very long time. So let me give the run down of what my life has been like since I have been gone. I am now separated from my husband (long story), I am dating the most wonderful man that I could ask for. He is like four years older than me but he has come to accept my kids as his own, and he loves me for me. I started working in August of last year and I am loving it, it is a little difficult not being around my kids as much as I use to but we are moving with the flow. My Sentra was giving me some trouble last year so in October I traded it in for a 2007 Nissan Altima which I love. Now 2014 has started out great, I got to spend the New years with my boyfriend and my kids and friends and family. It was great, I am the happiest I have ever been. I made a NEW YEARS RESOLUTION!!! It is going great, it is to start eating a healthier lifestyle and to get fit, so that I can stay around for my kids for a very long time. My friend DEEDEE is got a group of girls together on facebook where we are eating healthy and exericising everyday and she gives us challenges for us to compelete and is doing a little compotion against the girls to see who can lose the most weight but we are mainly together to try to encourage each other and help one another this long process of losing weight after we have had kids or gained weight for whatever reason might be. I have decided to do a post once a week telling u what the challenges are that she having us do and keep you informed how it is going for me. I want my viewers to help me be motivatied on this and keep at it. It is very encouraging to see so many to help support me in this major life changing event that I am going through. If any of you want to join in the excitment and the life changing event feel free to give it a try, I am telling it will be a blessing and it will keep you healthy and you will feel great about yourself. We are coming up on the end of week 2 now and I already feel a change, I am more energitic and I feel beautiful and feel like I can do anything I set my mind to. It is AAAAAAAAMMMMMMMMAAAAAZZZZZZZZZZIIIIIINNNNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGG!!! I will post a pic of myself before the challenge started, one mid-weeks and one after the challenge is done. The challenge is called is DEE's 12 weeks to a NEW YOU that I am doing. I will post more a bout the challenge later right now I need to go do my cardio. Thanks so much for stopping me.

Father's day 2012
The thursday before fathers day, we had a blast me and the kids making their farhers day presents. I bought three white shirts, one for each important guy in my childerns lives. Meaning daddy, papaw, and grandpa. We also bought them some father day cards too. I wanted totry the bubble painting and instead of using paper we used t-shirts. The kids loved it expect the bubbles kept floating and wouldnt pop on the shirt, so instead we just flinged the bubble soultion on the shirts and then threw them in the dryer. Then i wrote some sayings on the shirts with puffy paint. The guys loved them, I could not get a picture of them wearing their shirts, but they wore them that day and the kids were so happy that they loved them. Now tell me how u spent this year's father day with your father. We are always looking for new ideas on how to spend father's day with these special guys.

My First Fishtail Braid
Hey guys,
So I have been on pinterest a lot lately and looking for little girl hairstyles. My daughter has medium length hair and when it is not brushed it is messy but even when it is brushed and left down and everything it is still very messy. So I have been looking for new wonderful ways to get my daughter's hair unmessified (a word I just made up) and lately on pinterest there has been a bunch of posts or repins about braids and different kinds of braids. The only braids that I have ever known how to do is a regular braid and a french braid. Those two types of braids I usually do on my daugther right before she goes to bed cause she likes to wake up with curly hair since her hair is straight and even if you curl it and put product on it, it will still fall down. Today is the last day of school for my daughter, and yesterday I learned how to do a fishtail braid. So I did a fishtail braid on my daughter today before she went to school and it turned out great. I loved it and she loved it, although it only lasted a couple of hours cause my daughter plays hard, it was still neat to actually learn something new to do on my daughter's hair. Here are some pictures of the braid and what it looks like in the front
The Braid Itself
The Front of the Hair

The braid itself is very lose fitting and you can tighten it but it will eventually become very lose, so natuarlly I have learned that this braid is very cute but is not meant for a four year old who is going to be running around playing all day. To bad my hair is short esle I would do this to my hair, oh well I guess I will have to let it grow out now.

Slow Cooker Chicken and Wild Rice
So Today I am trying something new. As my family may know I am not the best cook in the world and I didn't go to cooking school. I think it is genetic cause my mom barely cooked when she was home.So since I am not good at cooking I have been trying to teach myself all these recipes and how to cook and be a good cook for my husband and my kids. So today I am trying my hand at this recipe that I found on Pinterest, it is called Slow Cooker Chicken and Wild Rice. My son needs to try and stay away from ground beef which means the whole family needs to try to stay away from ground beef, so we are now getting to know chicken, and everything esle;Including ground chicken, trukey, and pork. Recipes will follow using these and any new recipes that I find and the family loves. I am sorry but I did not take any pictures but if you want to see pictures you can go over Southern Plateand find the pictures and recipes there, but I will post the recipe on here as well.
Slow Cooker Chicken and Wild Rice
Items you need:
3 chicken breasts
1 can of cream of mushroom soup
an onion
and a box of long grain wild rice
Step 1:
Make sure you cook up your chicken breasts into three strips, which will leave you with nine strips of chicken breast which is more than enough for four people; if you have more than four people double the recipe for every four extra people. After you cut up the chicken place them in the bottom of your slow cooker. Take you onion and dice it up then put it into the slow cooker on top of the chicken. Then open the can the mushroom soup and pour it on top of chicken too, let that cook on low for 7-8 hours.
Step 2:
Right before you serve make you wild rice following the package instructions. Once that is made then mix it into you slow cooker with your chicken and mix together. Now you are all done and ready serve.

Day 3 organizing hall closet
I know I have left the 21 day challenge and started doing my own thing. But I am still using their guide lines. So as Today I am going to straighten the hall closet up. It was going to be crazy cause it was a mess since the hall closet in our house is so small and we have so much stuff that is where it all got put at. So the closet was messy and needed to be organized very badly, so that is what I did. Now we have a place for our bath towels, and sheets for each bedroom. Well I was organizing the hall closet i also organized under the bathroom sink so today I have two organizing jobs but if two is to much for you guys you can always do one today and do one for day 4 since day 4 will be organizing under the bathroom sink. I am finally going to post some pictures of the hall closet now Tomorrow I will get on about the organizing under the bathroom sink.

Day 2- Organizing Computer Area
Today for Day 2 it was to organize a computer area or desk area. Since me and my hubby both have laptops and we dont have any room in the house to put a desk I organized our book shelf or video game shelf. It wasn't that messy but it was still messy where we needed to move something off the shelf in order to get something esle. So I had fun organizing the shelf and going through the movies and books to get rid of, while my hubby went through the video games since that is his area and he gets mad if anyone touches the games without him knowing about it.
here is the before picture
and now here is the after picture, after the organizing
not much of a difference but it is looking a little better, so we now have some videos that we are selling or going to trade in to moviestop

Day 1- organizing "Junk" Drawer
For the first day of the challenge it was to clean out a "Junk" drawer that you just love to throw everything in. Well to let you guys know I had four "Junk" drawer in the kitchen so I was determined to at least get it down to only having one "Junk" drawer in the kitchen. so that meant going through all the drawers and throwing some things out as well as putting some in a neat place.
Here is what my drawers looked like before I started organizing
I got out my three baskets one for donating, one for trash, and one for keeps. I also had more baskets for the stuff that didn't belong in the kitchen. so there was one for the bathroom, shed, and etc. After I got done sorting all of my stuff into the different piles. I then put them in their places and put the stuff that I wanted to keep in "Junk" drawer back in the drawer. since I didnt go out buy and some baskets for this drawer I used some ziplock bags. Here is a picture of drawer now
I did it....I organized my "Junk" drawers into one single drawer. I am so proud of myself now lets see how you did on organizing your "Junk" drawer(s). Now off to do Day 2 of the challenge.

Hair bows/headbands
I am trying my hand at making headbands and hairbows for my daughter and I to wear. The headbands are pretty easy to make you just need some frabic and a sewing machine. The hairbows on the other hand are a lot harder if you are not a person who likes to take their time at doing something. I found the headband tutorial on pinterest and our daugther has been wanting to wear heandbands. which is fine with me considering it is a quick and easy way for me to get her hair out of her face. Well tonight I finally made my first headband, thanks to the tutorial on pinterest that i can no longer find. so here is the headband that I made and I will make many more and come up with a tutorial for the headbands if there is a need for one.
yes the headband is gator colors, cause my husband is a big fan. My side of the family is a seminole fan, so I made a gator one for our daughter to wear the day of the florida and florida state game.
the hairbow tutorial on SupermomvsMe this is my hair clip i made for my daughter to wear with one of dresses that has these colors all over i proably should put like a button or flower in the center of the hair clip, but now she can wear with in her hair or on her dress where ever she wants to put it. yay now go make you some and be sure to post photos i would love to see what you come up with.

MCADD, Food changes and reciepes
I love food, and since we have learned that our son and maybe our daughter have MCADD. For the people who do not know what that is, it is a disorder where people who have it their bodies cannot break down certain fatty porteins. So since my kids have this, it means that they cannot have any processed food, which means i have make everything from scratch including there lunches for school. So for a little while I will posting pictures of the stuff I cook and post the reciepe for them so incase anyone esle wanna makes them for their family.
So here is first reciepe:
This is a Healthy Baked Chicken Nuggets. The whole reason they are healthy because instead of the chicken nuggets being fried they are baked in the oven.
Ingredients:

homemade bookends
I found this on marthasewart.com...it is making magizine holders out of ceral boxes. It was a very neat idea, and since I was putting a shelf in my son's room for his books I decided to make me some bookends to hold all his books on the shelf. Here is what they look like:
yes I know that you may think that they are not going to strong enough to hold books up but they actually do. I put some Mod Podge on the ceral boxes that I made. yes I know what you are thinking she made Mod Podge? but I did and it actually worked out great. My son loves his new bookends although he isn't even old enough to tell me himself but I know his does. After putting the Mod Podge on I covered the boxes with a silly scrapbook paper that I had laying around. Its great.

Organizing the house
So right now, I am in the mood to get my house clean and decluttered but there is so much stuff that I am just compeletly overwhelmed by it, but I love Pinterest and while I was on there I found a lot of organizing and cleaning sites, and I have finally settled down to clean my house.....I will compelete on room a day and once that room is cleaned I have to keep it clean which means the next day means I will be cleaning two rooms and so fourth until I am done to where I have to clean the entire house everyday and not really have much to worry about. I love the idea, and I must give credit to my husband for thinking about it and suggesting it to me, but it will be difficult considering school is starting up again and i will have homework and class that will need my attention as well, but I will push forward. If you want to try one of the organizing and cleaning sites here is a great one to start out with Flylady.

Ribbion wreath
I wanted to make a ribbion wreath like the ones I saw on pinterest, so I finally did it....
here are instructions on how I made it....
what you need:
duct tape
1 6ft 3/4 pvc pipe protector tube
2 15 ft ribbions to wrap the wreath with
4 15ft ribbion of different colors to decorate the wreath with
hot glue gun
Instructions:
cut the 6ft tube in half and tape the two ends together so it makes a circle like this....

once you have the wreath in place take the 2 15ft ribbion of the same color and hot glue on end to start then wrap the rest of the ribbion around the wreath so it is covered in ribbion....

then take the 4 ribbions that you have in different colors and cut them 4inches long. once they are all cut hot glue one end and fold the ribbion in half and then hot glue it to wreath. repeat for all the ribbion you may need to do this three or four times around the wreath, then you are finished
I also made a gator wreath for my friend kim who loves the gator and it was her birthday.

Love Quilting
So on Oct. 8th the town my family lives in just had a quilttoberfest. I wanted to go so I went while the kids were taking a nap and my hubsand could stay home and watch them. While I was there I saw tons of beautiful quilts and I have been working on just a random quilt with all these quilt scraps that a lady at my grandmother's church has sent to me. I have been working on the quilt for over a year now and I am no where near done with the quilt, but since going and looking at the other beautiful quilts I want to start getting back into quilting and hopefully finish the quilt so I can give it to someone in my family for chirstmas. So what is it that has got your inspirations into doing some stuff that you have been wanting to do or get done.

Diaper covers
So recently I have came across this site that had a pattern for diaper covers and I need some bloomers for my little girl since she was no longer in diapers and the school she goes to requires her to wear shorts under her dresses. so instead of going out to the store and buying a large amount of shorts I choose to make her some bloomers to match the dresses that I have been making her. I know you are probably wondering how i did this. Well instead of using a pattern me and my grandmother grabbed a pair of her underwear and used that as our pattern. we cut the front a little lower so we could tell which was the front and the back. But for the pattern and the directions that I got my inspiration from visit cyatutorials

Life these days....
My life for the past two weeks has been really hard. The day before me and my kids left for kentucky my ac unit chose to leak and the unit that was leaking is in my son's closet and his room had carpert in it. So enough said there everything that was in my son's closet got wet, when the A/C unit guy came out he tried to dry up the floor, fixed the problem then left. The next day I went the room to wake up my son and the room smelled like mildew. So of course we ripped the carpert up in his room. Thank goodness the owners before us had just laied the carpert over nice tile floors. Anyways after that me and the kids left to go to Kentucky to see my brother come home from being over in war. When we got home my husband surprised me with redoing our bedroom, with a queen size bed instead of the king we use to have and bringing a tv stand in and some other things, but that was not the end of everything, our son started crying all hours of the night. We didn't know what was wrong with him expect that he was crying alot. I thought that he had an ear infection which the very next day we learned that I was right but instead of him just having one ear infection he has two. For me to over come this trouble that I have been having, I turn to God and know that everything has happened for a reason and that God will take care of me and my family. Now on to the pictures of our kentucky trip and my surprise bedroom make over.
